fun practica at Nocturnal
(1800 E Burnside St.) every Wednesday night.
The Nocturnal practica is considered an "alternative" practica, which means that about half the music played is traditional tango music, and the other half is non-traditional but still tango-able music. The DJs rotate every week and offer a wide range of tango and non-tango music, everything from international music, Irish reels,
klezmer, funk and rock, to blues and jazz.
There is a drop-in beginning lesson which starts at 7:30 PM,
and the practica goes from 8:30 till 'round midnight. Cost is $5. All-ages welcome.
