Follower's Guide to Festivals/Milongas

We all know that tango has it's challenges. Ochos, giros, and boleos are difficult to master, not to mention the whole leading and following thing. So, we take classes to learn from those who've figured it out and can explain it to us.

But what about tango questions like:

Why isn't he asking me to dance?
Does my boyfriend like dancing with her more than me?
How do I say no?

Talking with my fellow tangueras has helped me through my own tough tango times. I can't tell you how many times I shared a personal tango story with a friend, only to have her say, "That happened to me, too. I thought I was the only one! What did you do?"

So, over the years, I've compiled a collection of tips and "I've been there" stories, my own and those of friends. These are the things that I wish someone had told me when I first started my tango journey.
